Post subject: locating word doc saved in temporary internet files
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

Hi

Yesterday I opened an word attachment from Outlook Express and worked
on it. I then saved it by mistake back in Temporary internet files
rather than save as in My Documents. Today I cannot find the file.
Going back into Outlook express I can open the attachment I worked on
but this is the original not the revised version. By using 'save as'
I can see that it is saved in a TIF folder but I cannot access that
folder through Windows Explore to find the revised documents I saved
there last night. Windows Explore lists no "local settings" folder
under Matthew which is listed as the route folder for TIF. I have
tried various things like "My Recent Documents" function but with no
success.

Any help greatly appreciated

I have XP 2002 SP3 and Word 2003.
